Learning Journeys are the new name for topic work we do in school. We look at the National Curriculum and decide upon the content needed for each year group over the course of 6 terms. Each term the children are given a new learning journey book and will do all of their work in this book with the only exception being mathematics.
The objectives should be taught in a connected way through a Learning Journey approach using our school’s agreed planning format. Mathematics, Physical Education and French are taught as separate subjects but, where possible, are integrated within Learning Journeys.
