We thank you for your understanding and patience and we cannot wait to show off our fresh new look.

We currently hold 3 residential trips are students at our school.  The three trips provide an opportunity for children of different ages to develop good team building skills, to promote independence and to try out new activities and food.  The trips we choose are well managed and the staff at the different centres provide the safety equipment and lead the activities for the children.  They are on hand to answer questions and help the children have the best time.  The children develop their social skills, their citizenship skills and have a brilliant time.

Beaumanor Hall

In Year 2 the children are currently offered an opportunity to visit Beaumanor Hall in Leicestershire.  This is a one night, two day trip.  The children have an opportunity to do bug hunting, orienteering, arts and crafts, den building and to explore the hall's cellars in the evening with games and activities held there.  The children all have a fantastic time.

Lea Green

The Year 4 children are currently offered a 3 night trip to Lea Green in Derbyshire.  The children have the opportunity to try out new activities such as stream walking, archery, problem solving, ropes course and buggy driving.  The children return exhausted having been busy each day with the different activities and full of excitement to share their experience.

The Year 6 children are currently offered the opportunity to go on a 3 night trip to Whitehall in Derbyshire.  They get an opportunity to try rock climbing, abseiling, canoeing, river scrambling, orienteering, a ropes course and caving.  The children have a thoroughly good time and always use the experience in their writing and presenting skills when they return.
