“To be or not to be...”!
This term we will delve deeper into our national heritage by exploring the life and times of Shakespeare. In Literacy we have already begun to pen our own sentence stack versions of the tragedy of "Romeo and Juliet". No doubt the children will enjoy opportunities to seek out their inner thespian! We will finish the term writing a biography about the "Bard" himself, learning about his life and journey he took to becoming possibly the most influential writer in history
The children will explore the art of calligraphy and present sonnets for classroom display. As scientists, Year 6 will continue to investigate electricity and Year 5 will examine the topic of ‘Forces’ . In Maths, children will continue to focus on number and fractions, as well as improving their fluency in arithmetic skills.
In the run up to Christmas the children are certainly going to be busy!
The Year 5/6 Team.
